Basal Cell Carcinoma
Basal cell carcinoma (BCC) is the most common type of skin cancer, and is usually found on the head or neck. It can damage the surrounding skin and tissue, but is usually not dangerous. In most cases, the cancerous cells can be removed easily. For patients with a history of sun damage or multiple skin cancers, medications may be prescribed to reduce the risk of future occurrences.
